The St. Bernard Project was featured in the Washington Post.  It is a great article so I thought I would include it on the blog...hope you enjoy reading about the program we partner with here in Chalmette.  Liz and Zach are admirable role models for anyone who wants to make the world a better place.

Pastor Vicki Ehret, one of the volunteers from Atlantic South East District (ASE) came in April as part of her TRIM program (Training in Ministry). We have celebrated 1 year in Chalmette as of the first Sunday in March.  It has been a great year...
You may notice that even though it is now May 1st, this article is dated March 28th.  It had actually been written (twice) back in March.  I absent- mindedly hit the "delete" button instead of "enter" the first time! Then I switched to a new computer and had to download all my files onto it before I could add any pictures. So, for those of you who have been looking for some news, I apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience. As always, I hope to add more soon. :)
